To me, meaning is what develops via defining our own experience and worldview on our own terms without depending on outside sources of truth. The process of defining meaning through careful inner analysis and contemplation is all about bringing the inner experience into outer form: truthfully, effeciently and also with detachment and a willingness to let go of beliefs and assumptions. Meaning keeps us moving forward, evolving and developing our greatest potential. Development must include the objective component of defining meaning, or it will stagnate. We cannot feel our way to Self Realization, although emotional awareness is equally essential in the process. But that’s for another question. Thanks for sharing your view.
